WHO IS INELIGIBLE OR DISQUALIFIED FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE BID ROUND

A Company that:

(a)   Is indebted to Government resulting from the operation of a previously held Petroleum Licence(s) or Lease(s)

(b)   Has not operated a previously awarded Licence or Lease vigorously and in a business-like manner in accordance with the prevailing Petroleum Laws.

(c)   Is prohibited or banned from participation in the licensing round or any bidding process by the Federal Government or any of its agencies.

(d)   Has previously presented false information or forged documents.

(e)   Presents more than one bid proposal for the same license either as individual pre-qualified bidder, as member of more than one consortium, or through a third-party company over which the pre-qualified bidder has control or belong in whatever way in a group which presents a separate bid proposal.

(f)   Has the same shareholders or are formed by the same persons as another company participating in the bid process for the same license;

(g)   Has obtained information relating to the bid process through unauthorized means.

(h)   Has not complied with the provisions of the confidentiality agreement relating to access to the data room or any licence for geophysical data issued under the Petroleum Licensing Round Regulation 2022.

(i)   The Applicant is Insolvent

(j)   The Applicant has been found guilty of an offence which raises doubts about the professional integrity of the Applicant, its shareholders, or members.

(k)   The Applicant is not in all respects acceptable to the Government ;

(l)   The Applicant of any of its directors is indebted to or has its assets taken over by AMCON;

(m)   The Applicant has not met its obligations with regard to the payment of Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)r or taxes, in accordance with the extant law in Nigeria; or

(n)   Has not comply with Applicable Legislation.
